The Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon is a spectacular ultra-distance road race (56km / 35 miles) which is run every year in Cape Town on Easter Saturday. The route is known for its superb views of the crystal clear oceans and majestic mountains.

Runners in the Ultra must be at least 20 years old on race day and must have completed a marathon (42.2km) in less than 5 hours within the previous year.

For the Half Marathon runners need not qualify for the event but there is a 21/2 hour cut-off time.

Fun Runs are offered at the following distances: 8km, 5km and 2.5km, all on Good Friday, the day before the main events.
